As a Project Manager and Service Provider together with Food & Trees For Africa, Kamva Capital is involved with Shoprite Food Gardens project to promote Food Security. In conjunction with Lovedale College with Youth Learnership programme and Agriculture project members, about 20 Gardens will be resuscitated to product organic vegetables across 5 villages to develop Entrepreneurs in Agriculture space in rural areas.

Eskom has an infrastructure project to promote Food Security and Agriculture Co-operative in the Eastern Cape. Kamva Capital has been involved as a service provider and a project manager.

ECIC (Export Credit Insurance Corporation of SA)

Kamva Capital was delegated by ECIC to Analyse the then current Transformation Strategy in relation to “As Is’ Procurement, Enterprise & Supplier Development programme. Scope of work included the review of the transformation policy, “As Is” Procurement Processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement.  This assignment included recommendations on how to tailor-make Enterprise & Supplier Development programme to meet ECIC’s developmental mandate and ensure it help achieve its business imperatives.

Curo Fund Services

Kamva Capital  worked with Curo Fund Services in a program was aimed at engaging and encouraging township and rural Entrepreneurship. This included to the Project Management and advocacy ensure that Public sector can also get involved in community development initiatives. At Curo, Kamva Capital was also task to assist Enterprise & Supplier Development transformation strategy, especially relating to Procurement Spend. This assignment included Supply Chain Analysis to identify gaps and opportunities to implement Transformation and sustainable Supply Chain development.

Kamva Capital assists SEDA Clients i.e. SMMEs and Co-operatives with Business Development Support (BDS) Services such as Business Planning, Financial Clean-up, Operational Advisory/Mentorship, Budgeting and Projections. Kamva Capital also conduct variety of SMME Training workshops for SEDA Clients across SEDA branches.

Pioneer Foods

Kamva Capital is honoured to have been given a role by Pioneer Foods for preliminary assessment and recommendation of a community-based project in preparation for CSI and Enterprise Development initiatives. Kamva Capital was also tasked to develop and capacitate Agricultural Co-operatives based in townships and rural areas. The project scope included Project Management and Fund Administration as part of managing Social Investments ranging from managing suppliers, payment of Capital Expenditure items while also managing Operational Expenditure on weekly basis and Monthly Reporting.

PetroSA

Kamva Capital was authorized by PetroSA to render consulting services to PetroSA sponsored IEC’s (Integrated Energy Centres) run Co-operatives that are based in rural areas in Mbizana/Bhizana near Port Edward and Qamata/Confimvaba near Queenstown in the Eastern Cape. Our responsibilities included the following: Social Economic Development Plan, Management Capacity assessment, Recommendations and Approach to scale the social impact of Co-operatives and self- sustainability.

Edge Growth

Edge Growth took an initiative to provide structured mentorship and business development support (BDS) services for their ESD Beneficiary SMMEs that were linked to PetroSA ESD initiative, Kamva Capital was tasked to facilitate and manage this project. Our involvement was across the end-to-end of the process including: On boarding, detailed diagnostics across all key business functions, DBS and ongoing mentorship.

DEDAT (Western Cape Government – Department of Economic Development and Tourism)

DEDAT, on their “Work Skills Program”, appointed Kamva capital to provide skills development initiatives that are necessary for Youth to enter into the mainstream Job Market through Job Readiness programme and economic participation through Entrepreneurship development. This assignment included Fund Administration, management and payment of stipends to beneficiary Learners on monthly basis.

DEDAT (Western Cape Government – Department of Economic Development and Tourism)

Asisa Foundation

Kamva Capital has been nominated by Asisa Foundation to be involved in the Plan and Design Phase of the 2nd SMME Development Programme. This phase also includes scoping, content development and advocacy for stakeholder mobilisation to identify and development SMME’s in most provinces. Kamva Capital has been assigned for Coastal Provinces with the responsibility was to identify, develop, mentor and train SMME’s on the following areas:

Asisa Academy

ASISA Academy needed a Programme Champion to organise, deliver and manage the Consumer Financial Education (CFE) Programmes across member companies and Financial Services industry. Kamva capital was mandated to facilitate the CFE Bootcamps with CFE Practitioners, Service Providers, CSI Manages of Savings, Investments and Insurance companies to ensure that Consumer Financial Education is standardised and simplified across the industry for better implementation and impact reporting. This project involves engaging with variety of stakeholders such as sponsors, corporate members and government agencies i.e. FSCA (Financial Services Conduct Authority, formerly known as FSB – Financial Services Board)

Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS)

Kamva Capital has been appointed by GIBS to mentor entrepreneurs on developmental phases of their different customized programmes. Kamva Capital was tasked to identify, develop and mentor SMMEs in Green Economy, specifically, recycling companies ranging from Alien Invasive Plants clearing SMME’s, Material Waste recyclers and Food Waste to Organic Compost.

Through this project, Kamva Capital is well positioned to assist clients such as Municipalities and large corporates with Waste-to-Landfill Minimisation Programmes while helping on securing Carbon Credits and Enterprise & Supplier Development points.
